SPORTS EXCEL LEG 1 - QUALIFYING - 22 & 23 January, 2011

STA JUNIOR CHALLENGE COMPETITION 2011 BY CIMB FOUNDATION - 29 & 30 January, 2011
The First Tournament scheduled for the 29th and 30th of January was duly held on the 29th and the 2 matches for each player for the 1st round were duly completed. The 3rd match of the 1st round and all the matches of the 2nd round was scheduled to be played the next day on the 30th. However the 30th saw such bad weather as has never been experienced at the MBPJ Sports Complex Tennis Courts at Kelana Jaya before. The rains started early in the morning and literally never seized until the last match of the day was completed at 10:30pm. Understandably our programme for that day was very badly hit. Luckily for us we had the use of the single covered court. We had set down 11 matches to be played in the 1st round to be followed by all the matches for the 2nd round. However, with the single court we managed to complete only 8 matches of the 1st round and have to postponed the other 3 and all the 2nd round matches to the 12th of February.
