NSTP LTAM NATIONAL CIRCUIT (3) - updated 20 June, 2011

Several Selangor players to this competition did well, particularly, Juan Los Santos, unseeded and making a comeback after a long layoff made it to the final of the Men’s Single event losing to National No.1 Si Yew Ming. However on the way to the final, Juan beat the current Selangor Closed champion, the 6th seed, Marco Sitepu, then the 10th seed Razlan Rawi, then the 4th seed Khoo Er Yang and then in the semi finals the 2nd seed Ahmad Hazli Zainuddin. Kanagaraj lost to Yew Ming in the quarter finals and Ahmad Deedat lost to the same player in the semi fianls.

SPORTS UNITE STA UNITY TENNIS CARNIVAL 2011 - updated 20 June, 2011

A Press Conference for the event was held in the 15th of May at the venue in Kelana Jaya.

The actual event started on the 21st beginning with a coaching clinic in the morning and fun games, 5 in number, in the afternoon.

For the fun games the participant were divided into 4 team of 9 – The Gatorade Team, The Sports unite Team, The Milo Team and The Dunlop Team. There were 5 fun games namely the “King of the Mountains”, the “ZigZag Bouncing Ball Slalom”, “The Ball Balancing Game”, “The Catapillar Game” and “The Ball Attack Game”.

The Gatorade Team won the “King of the Mountains” and the “ZigZag Bouncing Ball Slalom”.

The Sports Unite Team won “The Ball Balancing Game”, was 2nd in the “ZigZag Bouncing Ball Slalom”, the “Caterpillar Game” and the “Ball Attack Game”. The Milo Team won the “Caterpillar Game” and was 2nd in the “Ball Balancing Game”.

The Dunlop Team won the “Ball Attack Game”.

The 2nd Day, 22nd of May, was for the American doubles competition. The participants were divided into 2 groups A and B.

Almost 200 children participated in this competition. Even then the referee managed to conclude the competition one day earlier than schedule on the 31st of May.
